Joe Simone, President of Simone Development Companies, has announced that WESTMED Medical Group, a large, Purchase-based multi-specialty medical practice, has signed a long-term lease for 20,000 square feet at the Boyce Thompson Center, an exciting new 85,000-square-foot mixed-use center nearing completion in Yonkers, NY.
“We are very pleased at the level of leasing activity we are seeing at the Boyce Thompson Center. This unique and innovative project is attracting a wide range of tenants including medical practices, restaurants and retail. We look forward to our opening this fall,” said Mr. Simone.
WESTMED will occupy two floors at the Boyce Thompson Center in a new 20,000 square foot building constructed on the south side of original Boyce Thompson building and connected to it by glass-covered connector corridor between the buildings that provides access to the lower level. The complete line-up of specialty medical practice providers at the new WESTMED location are still to be determined.
With the new lease, the Boyce Thompson Center is now over 70 percent pre-leased to 11 tenants. Located off Executive Boulevard in Northeast Yonkers, the Boyce Thompson Center is an innovative mixed-use development featuring Class A office space for businesses and medical practices, retail stores, banking and restaurants.
