Expands Therapies to Enhance Treatment of Patients in the Community

Bronx, NY, October 26, 2022 – Burke Rehabilitation announced the expansion of its therapy services with the opening of a new site at 1250 Waters Place at Simone Development Companies’ Hutchinson Metro Center in the Bronx. New York’s technology sector attracts venture capitalists and spurs new real estate leasing

Bronx, N.Y. (August 8, 2022)—The New York City region’s burgeoning technology and life sciences sectors are attracting increasing interest from venture capitalists who are leasing new office space to be closer to innovation hubs, says Joseph Simone of Simone Development Companies.

Housing Construction Marks Phase 2 of 26 Garden Street Project

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – August 3, 2022 – Simone Development Companies and Stagg Group have commenced construction on West View Apartments, a 186-unit affordable housing development that marks Phase 2 of a mixed-use project at 26 Garden Street in New Rochelle, NY.

The development will include a community room, gym, computer center, laundry facilities and parking for tenants, and will also include a number of sustainability measures including compliance with Enterprise Green Community and Energy Star MFNC (multifamily new construction) standards, low flow plumbing fixtures, LED light fixtures with motion sensors, dark sky compliant exterior light fixtures and use of low VOC paint and sealants.

Prior to joining Simone Development, Mr. Holst served as Managing Director of Architecture, Construction, Marketing and Design for Fisher Brothers’ 9 million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio. At Fisher Brothers, Mr. Holst completed more than $200 million of capital improvement projects and interior tenant improvements on schedule and under budget through innovation of design, technology, operations, leasing, marketing and proficiency of job oversight.

In his long and distinguished real estate career, Mr. Holst has also served as Chief Real Estate Officer for Ease Hospitality and as Senior Vice President of Architecture, Construction and Leasing for SL Green Realty Corp., both in New York City.

A licensed architect, Mr. Holst is a member of numerous organizations including the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the American Institute of Architects, and the Real Estate Board of New York, where he served on REBNY’s Management Division Board of Directors.
